Night Market Announces Chinatown Date

One of our favorite Philadelphia food phenomenons—the Night Market—has scheduled its last event for the 2012 season: 7 to 11 p.m. Oct. 4 in Chinatown. The event means vendors will line the streets, offering sumptuous goodies in a neighborhood-festival kind of atmosphere at 10th and Race streets. This means, of course, that early October is going to be a great time for eating in and around Center City—the Night Market event takes place at the same time as Center City Restaurant Week. We’ve already resigned ourself to the fact that the Phillies won’t be playing in the World Series then; stuffing yourself with great food isn’t the worst backup plan. [Night Market Philly]
