A.J. Daulerio—former Philly Mag staffer and editor in chief of Gawker—lived in New York’s East Village in September of 2001. After the attacks of 9/11, Daulerio briefly pondered a move back to Ambler. He chronicled his experience on the day of the attacks, and his first trip back to Ambler immediately after, in a column published in the Ambler Gazette on September 19, 2001. He re-published it on Gawker on Tuesday, the 11th anniversary of the attacks. [Gawker]
