On August 5th, Garrett Reid—the 29-year-old son of Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid—was found dead in a dorm at Lehigh University, where he was spending Eagles training camp as a strength and conditioning coach. Now, more than six weeks later, the coroner handling Reid’s case still hasn’t disclosed when he’ll be able to determine cause of death. The time elapsed, though, isn’t that unusual.
Eight to 12 weeks isn’t that unusual, said staffers in two local coroner’s offices who asked not to be identified.
“When everything is completed, I’ll release the results,” said Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek, declining to speculate when that might happen. [Inquirer]
