Romney T-Shirt Girl Is Leaving School for Good

Samantha Pawlucy—the 16-year-old girl who was ridiculed by her teacher for wearing a Romney-Ryan T-shirt to Charles Carroll High School—will not return to the Port Richmond school. Pawlucy’s father says that Samantha and her two siblings who are also in high school will not return to Carroll. Instead, he says they’ll transfer to a different school, possibly a charter. Samantha returned to school on Tuesday but reportedly felt uncomfortable and ran into the school’s office. [Inquirer]
