The Flying Hawaiian won’t be coming back to the Phillies’ center field after all. Boston players seem to be stoked about the trade (although fans are looking a little cool), but the Inquirer‘s Matt Gelb thinks it’s a sign of how crazy the market is that a 32-year-old who had a career-worst year in 2012 is still worth $13 million per season.
