Students Sue University of Delaware for Right to Print Gross T-Shirts

Prior to this year’s homecoming game, the University of Delaware blocked two students from printing 2,000 t-shirts bearing the slogan “U Can Suck Our D.” (Just to give you a sense for what these guys are all about, they had also ordered matching beer cozies and neon sunglasses.) So the budding entrepreneurs are suing. “This is a civil rights case,” declared their attorney, in a statement likely to move no one. But perhaps the real tragedy is that another student group was selling a slightly different set of “U Can Suck Our D” t-shirts at the same game, and wasn’t stopped by the school.
