El Wingador Indicted on Cocaine Charges

It’s probably a good thing Bill “El Wingador” Simmons wasn’t allowed to participate in the Wing Bowl this year. In a twist of irony, the five-time champ was indicted for cocaine distribution and possession charges just hours before the 6 a.m. start of his signature event. The Woodbury Heights competitive eater was first charged in May, after police found $8,000 worth of coke in the back of his Wingador-themed Kia Soul. [Delco Times]
