The horse meat saga continues. Swedish furniture playground Ikea is the latest to reveal it’s been serving customers horse. The taboo meat was flagged by Czech authorities in supposedly pork-and-beef meatballs. (Can’t explain why the Czechs were involved, sorry.) Meatball sales have halted in Sweden and Italy; no word on what’s going down at Philly’s Columbus Blvd branch. I guess this helps explain the availability of 15 meatballs, mashed potatoes, cream sauce, and lingonberry sauce for only $3.99. [Reuters]
