Rihanna Cancels Baltimore Show; Is Philly Safe?

So Rihanna canceled tonight’s Baltimore show due to laryngitis. Which, naturally, produces concern about whether she’ll be able to perform her scheduled Thursday night concert at the Wells Fargo Center here in Philly.

An email from the Wells Fargo Center is hopeful:

We were informed today by Live Nation that tonight’s Rihanna Diamonds World Tour show in Baltimore is being postponed as she continues to recover from the flu and laryngitis.

She plans to perform as scheduled at Wells Fargo Center on Thursday, March 14.

Fingers crossed. Philly diva-pop fans are still getting over last month’s Lady Gaga cancelation. So pray for Rihanna’s vocal chords.
