Zarwin Baum March Madness Party

Philly VIPs catch NCAA tournament basketball action at the Crystal Tea Room while raising money for Philabundance.

With the start of March Madness, there were at least a half dozen big parties in Philadelphia, and one of the biggest was hosted by the Zarwin Baum law firm and HUB International Parties at the Crystal Tea Room. This year, more than 2,000 people attended the annual event, an eight-hour extravaganza, where guests dined on burgers, wings and chicken, enjoyed an open bar, had their favorite cigars rolled in the cigar room, and watched the NCAA games on projection screens. The annual bash is also a fund-raiser for Philabundance. Below: Roslyn V. Pilla, president/CEO of Eightegrity, drops off a few cans to help feed needy people in our area.

Not only is it a great March Madness viewing party, it’s a great networking event, and you never know who you’re going to see there. Below: Danielle Krupta, Dan Gross, Stephanie Rybczyk and Monique Crawford.

Below: At 8 p.m., the party headed over to Del Frisco’s for more fun. Spinning for the evening was Dan Cronin, Chorus Communications, here with Sabrina Tamburino Thorne and Carol Tamburino.

Below: Also enjoying the fun was Jerry Mauro, Wilmington Trust, Ray Pennacchia, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Councilman James Kenney, and State Senator Larry Farnese. Then I put the camera down and hit the dance floor. I can’t wait till next year.
