Mayor Nutter and Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey held a press conference this afternoon to announce an overhaul to the department's command structure. Angry Mayor Nutter Speaks at Funeral of Murdered Officer

On Monday morning, Mayor Nutter, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey, Philadelphia Police officers and others totaling in the hundreds gathered to lay Officer Moses Walker Jr. to rest. Mayor Nutter addressed the crowd and expressed his anger at the crime and the insanity of the culture that breeds this type of violence.

Police Look for 7-Year-Old Suspect in a Philly Home Invasion Attack

Police say that three kids broke into a woman's home in Juniata and beat her with ropes, sticks, a potted plant and a plunger before ransacking the house and stealing $20. One 10-year-old suspect is in custody, but police are searching for a 12-year-old and a 7-year-old that allegedly participated in the attack.
