The Company That Manages “Blackout Superdome” Is Based in Conshohocken

Desperate for scraps of Super Bowl glory, Philadelphians have been floating some pretty lame trivia lately: John Harbaugh was once an assistant coach with the Eagles; the Eagles beat the Ravens way back in Week 2. Cast aside those morsels now. It turns out that the company that has managed the New Orleans (er, Mercedes-Benz) Superdome since 1977--i.e. the company that manages the stadium that went completely dark during the biggest sporting event on the planet--is based in little old West Conshohocken, PA. Here's what SMG had to say about the blackout, in a joint release with the energy company

Shake Shack Opening a Joint in King of Prussia Mall

Go West, young cheeseburger palace. In June, Shake Shack unveiled its Center City spot. Last week, it announced a Drexel location. Now, King of Prussia.

So we already know that the University City Shake Shack expansion will be at 3200 Chestnut Street (in the new Chestnut Square development) and that it’s looking at an opening this summer. But now we can also announce that King Of Prussia will be getting a Shack all its own, with a brand-new, free-standing shack going up near the King of Prussia Mall (because, seriously, where else would they put it?) that should be up and slinging burgers

Man Says Stripper Ruptured His Bladder During Dance

A Montgomery County man is suing Port Richmond's Penthouse Club after an on-stage incident reportedly forced him to have corrective surgery. Lansdale's Patrick Gallagher was out for a special night with the bros to commemorate his upcoming nuptials back in 2010. His bros were looking out for him and got him the special "bachelor's package" that includes an on-stage dance and extra attention from the club's ladies. Gallagher's lawsuit alleges that the night went terribly awry, though, when one of the strippers slid down the stripper pole and onto his abdomen with such force that it ruptured his bladder. He
