Another Run for Boston Tonight in Chestnut Hill
Local shop Indigo Schuy is hosting the event.
If last week’s show of solidarity wasn’t enough for you, I’ve got another run-for-Boston option you might be interested in. Fitness-apparel store Indigo Schuy is hosting a Runners for Boston event in Chestnut Hill tonight.
It kicks off at 6 p.m. at Cedars House Cafe at 200 Northwestern Avenue. There will be a moment of silence and singing of the National Anthem before runners head out for a three-mile (total) out-and-back run. The event is part of a grassroots movement called BostonStrong, which includes more than 100 cities across the country that are hosting solidarity runs today, one week after the Boston Marathon.
